Country Side

I just returned from visiting Lexington. It was a really great trip. I always make a point to drive out Old Richmond Road along the country side. Here our some pictures I took. They were all taken in an hour on a pretty sunny afternoon, but I adjusted the white balance settings, as well as a few other things to alter the color, and therefor the mood of each picture.

I find that my choice really varies from day to day. But I can still get the feeling of the second photo by simply closing my bed room door and glancing at the ceiling or watching the breeze carry my white voile drapes into my room. A place of my own.

Antipasti Salad

My favorite kind of salad is the kind that has meat, cheese, and no lettuce. This antipasti salad is perfect. I just combined mozzarella, small heirloom tomatoes, salami, basil, and a little bit of olive oil, balsamic, and pepper. Tastes light, but its not!

Home Alone
